I need advice about attending AA meetings. Ever since I

If AA isn't your thing give smart recovery a try. Finding people you enjoy interacting with and do things together sober can be hard. The meetings can be more about networking and finding a new friend or two on your sobriety journey.

I put off going to AA for a long time because I didn’t want to deal with those things either. I’m so happy I finally decided to give it a try tho, nothing else was sticking. And now I’ve found that those are the things I really needed and it’s changed and saved my life. The meetings are all different, try out a couple different ones. And if it’s still not for you there are other recovery programs. I was checking out smart recovery for awhile too. Good luck!

Find a meeting attend with an open mind, listen for similarity and be honest with yourself...see what happens.

Cool thing about AA is it comes with a :100: percent guarantee, if you choose to work the program and it doesn’t help, they will refund your misery in full. You would be out nothing

AA only kept me drinking so you are correct to be cautious. You might want to check on dinner meetup groups

Don't feel alone on the whole relationship thing, I thought they would get easier now that I'm not a drunken addict when in fact they got harder...

Women For Sobriety is a wonderful option. Some lucky women can find a local meeting as well. AA not the only way. Try all kinds of meetings to see what feels right

I was forced for the last twenty some years to attend NA either through probation or parole or programs I was in n never really got into it but now that I have been 100% free since October 2020 I see that anything u want you have to work for nothings free including sobriety. Since I've been home I managed to find a place to live and got a really good job and now I'm losing everything. I really need help

Go to a meeting you will love it
