Every since I’ve become sober I’ve had insomnia, any hacks you can share? Apps?
I’m tired lol
It’s tough. I don’t know if many apps but music helped me
Depending on how you feel about medications, talk to your doctor about seroquel! It works wonders for me at a small dose and doesn't get me high or change my headspace
Same here, I am only a little over 2 weeks in this sobriety…. And I am having the same thing…. Some nights only 2 hours of sleep
I take Olly gummies and they help. I’ll get up at 6am so I’ll be able to sleep at night. I go to the gym or take walks to wear myself out. Then I’ll read before bed and limit screen time and that does it.
Calm or insight timer for meditations they also have sleep stories
I had to get a prescription. I am very active throughout the day but still had trouble sleeping. I tried a bunch of over the counter stuff but it only works temporarily and they also gave me crazy dreams(which was fun at first). I take 50mg of Hydroxyzine every night and get a good 6-8 hours of sleep. I hate relying on it but it works for now. I LOVE my sleep.
I struggle with sleep and I am an active person and spend a couple hours in the gym after work every day. High vibration music helps me to keep going back to sleep.
In my past past experience, it helped if I worked out at a HIIT gym at 5am. Then I was always tired by 10.
Prayer always makes me sleepy. Try that..
Advil PM. Might make you a little groggy next day though. I take them sometimes cause Im so desperate for sleep.
Reading and melatonin. Happy sleeping.
Yeah melatonin is good. And chamomile tea together. Everybody loves Raymond soothes me too. I know it's weird but works for me.
Sounds silly but I put ancient aliens on the tv and I drift off to sleep
Join the club Hon
Yeah I was told take hot showers and then ice cold as cold as u can stand it it's pretty epic and helps u sleep
I afraid caffeine after 12 noon, also listen to a meditation app (insight timer) to help with sleep
I have Slumber and shuteye app that I use to help me fall asleep
Sleep is something I don’t get much of.
