Just having a hard time with a bad relationship and self esteem. My boyfriend wishes I was smaller. I have been my same size since we met not sure how to cope but I’m not okay

Hi Rheanne, I can see how that would hurt feelings…. I guess you can look at it like hey my BF is being honest in what he wants and it’s up to you to be well I do want to get smaller for me or tell your BF to kick rocks like me for who I am or don’t.

First of all a bad relationship is no good for your self-esteem…
 He should love you for who you are!  Dump him !
 Then, work on your self-esteem positive affirmations I am a good person. I am a loving person and so on

How do you feel about yourself? If you are happy with yourself, then that’s what matters. You have to be able to love yourself first. If you’re happy with yourself, then it sounds like a problem your other has, not you…Love yourself first, dear.

I try to Remember its not about me, no matter how much I would or could change my appearance everyone has their choices and as time marches on appearance changes, if we see the person behind the masks of life that’s the real person, corny but true that love is on the inside and we all find the person who can “see” us from the inside out if we wait patiently. Once I put stock in whether another person thinks I’m attractive sooner or later someone else will think I’m not, if I try to change things I can’t change to meet another’s visual desire I’ll be living a painful daily existence.
