Hello, I just downloaded this app, and am currently just looking to find similar, likeminded people. I’m on probation for DUI number 2, and in my 20s. It took me 2 duis in one year to realize that I even had a problem. I couldn’t categorize myself as an “alcoholic” because to me I was just living my 20s, and everywhere you look things are centered around drinking. Trying to build myself back up, and discover who I am is getting really hard and I would love to share experiences with people going through or who have went through it. Thanks!
Ahhhh, just might have a drinking problem there. Hope you can stop using and stay safe and out of jail. It’s pretty bad today getting dui’s. They don’t mess around anymore.
Hey Caitlin. You will be so glad you started this journey young
Reach out if I can support.
It’s a learning process, your still very young to learn all that you can now and to remain sober. Sober life may be boring but I choose boring after 14 years of using. Hope you continue your sobriety and you find something that you really love to do so you can distract yourself from all the negativity.

Thank you for reaching out! It definitely packed a punch but I’m happy I figured it out now before it got any worse.
You should be so proud of yourself. Let me know if I can support. Meetings help, AA is not the only program.
Thank you so much, I am truly hoping to rediscover myself.
Do you have any other platforms, especially online, that are different to AA? I’m currently using in the rooms for probation, but would like to find different options as it’s not a great fit.
Smart Recovery, Women for Sobriety, Dharma Recovery. Look them up online they all have online options.
The Luckiest Club, Recovery Elevator too but I’m not very familiar with them.
Thank you so much! I signed up for Smart tonight, trying to get a feel for navigating the site. I will do some more googling.
Hi Caitlin, I'm 54 but we're all like minded. Reach out anytime
Hi Lisa, thank you for reaching out. I will keep you in mind, the journey is still new and I’m sure I will need all the help I can find.
And take it, it's a WE program
Great wisdom there Caitlin. Take it all in. You’ve come to the right place.
Hi Caitlin! Happy to be a sober friend
I’m also in my twenties and just recently realized I also had a problem.
Welcome, Caitlin! Just recently joined myself, and I’m really happy with it. It’s a great, incredibly valuable community. Excited for you to start this journey!
Good for you Caitlin. It may seem grim now but stay sober and out of trouble and the world opens up to you
Hey Elle! I’m definitely here if you ever need someone for accountability.
Yes, it’s seeming to be a great tool to have to remind me I’m not alone in this!
