I think I’ve hit the last straw. Last night I had another black out night. I need help and I’m hoping to talk to someone.

You came to the right place and are asking for help. If you’re up for it I recommend hitting a meeting to hear from others about their experience, strength and hope in their recovery. You can do this! We’re all here to support one another in this.

Sorry dude. One day at a time. Find a Detox. Find a support group. Begin the rebuild. Before you know it, you’ll have a series of days and something stronger to hold onto.

I made such a mess of my life. I don’t have anything and losing everyone around me. It’s so darn hard.

I lost everything too Rick. I know it doesn’t feel like it right now but it’s not the end of everything. I had to lose it all so I could accept that I was the problem and become willing to live differently.

One day at a time …. It is so simple and a very hard thing to grasp too… the promises will come.

Yes, find a detox first. If they have good service is there, they can help you plan the next step. Good luck to you.

It's probably one most uncomfortable things that you will ever do? Giving up your best friend, alcohol, especially when he's been there for everything? But when he takes control change is inevitable! Good or Bad, you get to choose?

Hi Rick: I've been there. I was homeless 5 years ago. I just surrendered and started going back to meetings. I lived in a halfway house, then a shelter. Now I have my own place and am working again. I lost most everything too. I woke up today with a smile on my face. Made a meeting at 10am. Then decided to check Loosid. Please get to a meeting and raise your hand. Tell the truth. There's support out there.
