You really did the right thing by reaching out if your in early recovery keep jumping up and reaching out for help that's how you stay sober by finally not keeping the secret of the monster and allowing other people to help you recovery isn't easy at all but the benefits and blessings that come from it is worth one day day in our addictions that stole years days and months from us so just as hard as we fight for our addiction we have to fight to live go take a hot shower or a bubble bath read a book listen to music write baby eat some junk food or have your favorite smoothie ot a bowl of ice cream cry kick scream but don't go back if you need someone to just talk to that's not going to judge inbox me I will send you my number idc what time it is I'm here for you because you are not alone I love you always be blessed

Great for telling on your disease! Please reach out to someone. Catch a meeting, if you can. Prayers up, blessings come down.

Find somewhere to volunteer. Dog pound or rescue, go for a big hike! Don’t isolate! :pray:t3:

Turning back to what alters your mind is always just a temporary hold of reality. Doing it would benefit nobody except the store you bought it from. Keep on pushing for success and remember you aren't the only one that feels like this. We can all do this

Either a meeting or try to spend your time with someone who understands what you are going through and hang out with. The worste thing you can do is keep festering on it and keeping to yourself. You did the right thing by reaching out, now take it a step farther and follow your loosid communities advice. You don't have to do this alone .

You don't have to live that way anymore. You did an amazing job reaching out. We are here to help you and give you some suggestions: go to meetings, get a sponsor, get the big book, find your community, and keep reaching out. Your story will be someone else's guide to get through the same things. We all get it here, so you are never alone. Keep your head up

I wish I could contribute some advice, but I’m right there with ya. Sometimes a long walk has helped, but the insomnia hasn’t relented. At least you can know that you’re not the only one. People on here are pretty supportive

Good morning. Have you tried ...

Me too. I wanna drink. But then I think about what I will lose again. I don't want all that pain, guilt, and misery :pensive:.
You don't want that either right? :+1: Be grateful you are here right now and have today to be present and awake and alive. Be proud. Tend to your garden! Much love! Enjoy your day!!:muscle::pray::eyes::grin:

Thank you everyone! I reached out to many people, went on a meeting, had a snack. I’ve been feeling really lonely but I’m not going to let that bring me down anymore. Time to move forward in life! 139 days clean!
