Struggling

“It’s not important how you started; it’s important how you finish.” - David Goggins

I’ve had several dates seem to go well, but like Taylor, I’m open and honest (transparent) from the get go, and I have the view that every relationship that doesn’t pan out as I would hope actually helps improve me for my last first date: there are qualities that I look for in every person that relatively stay the same, but there are interpersonal skills that I may lack in that are strengthened by those interim dates. Keep your chin up, take the good, let go of the bad, and keep moving forward.

Honest and genuine genuine is the way I go about it.
If it’s meant to be it’s meant to be.

Since everything in God’s world happens for a reason you will grow to learn that God has a better plan for you. Keep coming back and you are worth the work and you’ll be able to have a growing acceptance and peace that passes Al understanding.

I made a decision to only date women who are also in recovery. So far; so good…

Congratulations on your year! I'm sorry that fella didn't work out, but a lot of people just don't understand the struggle.

What a crummy feeling to feel. But I’m proud of you for choosing to see your value and what you deserve.

You deserve to have someone who supports you!

Ya, but look what you have accomplished. His loss, and your better off. Keep your head up!:heart:

Awesome congratulations

This too shall pass. Nice work!
