Thank you. I've never heard of smart either
I’ve never said to anyone that I’m an alcoholic and I need help, feels liberating.
100%%%
Same here, I can’t drink just one, longest I’ve gone is 3 months sober.
I’m a very functional alcoholic which is so tough because I haven’t been in any trouble. Never go out and drink just at home and constantly sneaking drinks all around the house, I feel embarrassed and I don’t want my wife to know because of “the shame “
Reaching out and proclaiming to the world that you are meant for so much more is amazing.
How you doing tonight ?
Hey bud. I was about to message you! I'm doing well, holding on strong! You?
Doing good! Had some cravings but got through them ! I tend to get triggered after I typically would be out of work, dinner also triggers me with drinking. Like earlier a certain meal would make me think “well of course I’ll need wine”
Man, that's great news! I was actually at a bar. I went to see my friend because she was hosting karaoke night. Out of all places that's where I went. It's a beach bar with excellent sunsets. I watched the sunset, had a meal, drank WATER and headed home. I was not even thinking about taking a sip of alcohol. I'm at the point where I KNOW that that monster will destroy me and I no longer want it in my life. I'm planning on starting a 30 day detox as well but I want 7 days sober under my belt before I start. Then I'll be heading back to the gym and getting myself in shape.
Arie, you can do it man. One moment at a time
Awesome ! Great job! Excited to see your progress, what state you live in?
All you will be missing tomorrow is your hangover! Stay strong!
I'm in NY, you?
Seattle
Ah nice. Great bands came from Seattle. You got this! I'll get easier. I firmly believe that one I get past a week I'll be fine. I just need a healthy routine and get into the habit of it! You as well....
That's right! Thank you
