Todays only Day 2, I know that’s nothing but I

Todays only Day 2, I know that’s nothing but I got to start somewhere. I’m going to work after I called in yesterday and I feel like I look like a clown. My mom got me a sponsor that’s gonna call me today and I just pray yesterday was the day I start my sobriety. Wish me luck cause I feel so weak. I just want to cry

Day two is DEFINITELY something! Don’t cut yourself short on that! Have some grace with yourself. Be kind. Don’t worry about what others think or say. One day at a time… that’s how it gets done.

Thank you! I’ve been so ashamed of myself for years. Yesterday was my daughters bday and I got her a little gift card cause I said I’m kinda tight on money. But I sure did have my 4 tall boys the night before and my pack of cigarettes. I can’t keep going like that she’s gonna grow up and find out who I’ve been her whole life. It just tears me up inside

Day two is everything. I believe it's the hardest part. Stay strong brother, you'll get there.

Kids are really forgiving. The best thing you can do is the next right thing. My relationship with my girls is stronger now because I am honest and do right by them. Show her… don’t tell her. It can be done my man!

Thank you!

Thank you! It’s definitely hard. The longest I been was 28 days and that was years ago but I know it’s possible

Good job on making that decision Anthony. You're daughter will have such a more enriched life as you stay sober!

Looking back, my day two was one of my biggest milestones. Stringing two days together is NOT NOTHING! We’re proud of you!

Every day sober is a blessing. You’ve got this! It gets easier along the way, and someday you’ll look back at this and be thankful. Listen to your sponsor….

Thank you!! :pray:t3::palms_up_together:t2:

It’s definitely possible, I drank since I was 15, my first sober birthday since 15 was this year at 50. 6 months or something close to it, it’s tough but it’s beautiful!! I was at about 30 beers, the withdrawals were insane, I don’t remember an entire week lol
